Sandals Resorts is celebrating Jamaica’s Independence Day this week with one of its largest travel advisor initiatives of the year, combining exclusive incentives and contests alongside nationwide consumer promotions. The resort company is hosting Jamaica Independence Day celebrations in 25 U.S. cities on August 6, including New York, Philadelphia, Miami, and Atlanta. These events are bringing together over 1,000 travel advisors for gatherings featuring Jamaican cuisine, reggae music, and updates on recent renovations at Sandals properties. A live broadcast will also allow an estimated 10,000 advisors nationwide to hear directly from resort general managers and destination experts.

These local events coincide with two major booking initiatives designed to capitalize on the demand for Jamaica. Advisors booking qualifying stays at Sandals Montego Bay, Sandals Caribbean Cay, and Sandals South Coast between August 1 and August 31, 2026, can earn up to $100 in cash bonuses and up to 4 percent in bonus commissions. Additionally, the resort is running a travel advisor contest where participants have the chance to win a three-night stay at any of the three featured resorts. Advisors can win the prize by being the top booker of the properties or by sharing a “love story” with Jamaica on social media using the hashtag #SandalsJamaicaLove26 during the entry period from August 6 to 31, 2026.
Consumer Sale Targets Vacationers
While the focus is on advisors, Sandals is also opening the deals to the general public through the “Great Jamaica Comeback Sale.” Travelers can book stays of five nights or longer at Sandals’ Jamaican resorts between August 4 and September 7, 2026, for travel between August 4, 2026, and December 31, 2028. The promotion offers up to $1,500 in instant credit and up to $350 in air credit, with the added incentive of a free Jamaican adventure through Island Routes. The specific terms vary slightly by credit type, but the offer aims to capture both immediate summer travel and future holiday bookings.
