Rajeev Rawat has been appointed Director of Operations at Hyderabad Marriott Convention Centre and Courtyard by Marriott. He will guide operational excellence across both properties, improving service delivery, developing talent, and shaping memorable guest experiences.
Rawat brings more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality sector, having served leading global brands such as Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt. His career includes positions in rooms operations, guest experience, and senior leadership, with an international perspective shaped during his time in Scotland.
He began his hospitality journey at JW Marriott Pune, where he handled front-office responsibilities and coordinated rooms operations. Those early duties laid the groundwork for later senior roles, and he eventually oversaw rooms operations for Courtyard and Fairfield by Marriott locations in Bengaluru.
Rawat said, “Hospitality, at its heart, is about people — the associates who bring a hotel to life and the guests whose experiences we have the privilege of shaping.” He highlighted the need to be present, listen closely, and create an environment where staff feel empowered to deliver their best.
Amardeep Singh, Multi-Property General Manager of Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre and Courtyard by Marriott Hyderabad, welcomed Rawat to the team. His contributions have earned several professional recognitions, including the Associate of the Year award and the Guest Voice Champion award. The former honors staff who demonstrate outstanding service leadership, while the latter highlights his skill in turning guest feedback into practical improvements. He was also nominated for the Hotelier Awards in the Dynamic Rooms Director of the Year category, placing him among a select group of industry professionals celebrated for innovative room-division management.
