Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has launched its first Vienna House by Wyndham in Türkiye, introducing an 114-room hotel in Istanbul. This marks the brand’s first entry into the country and adds to Wyndham’s existing portfolio of 12 brands there. The opening comes as Istanbul strengthens its position as a leading global tourism destination.

The Vienna House Istanbul Bahçelievler features Superior and Deluxe Rooms, Junior Suites, two accessible rooms, and two 65-square-metre Vienna Suites with private living spaces. Guests can also use a meeting room for up to 30 people, a fitness center, and a spa with Turkish baths, saunas, steam rooms, and seven treatment areas. The property’s dining is led by the Vienna Restaurant, which serves international cuisine and accommodates 130 diners.

Wyndham’s expansion into the Turkish market reflects broader industry trends, particularly the growing demand for experience-focused hospitality. The hotel operates under a franchise agreement with ARES İstanbul Turizm, a long-time Wyndham partner that previously opened La Quinta by Wyndham and Days Inn by Wyndham properties in the city.

The development aligns with Wyndham’s strategy of targeting high-growth markets with brands suited to changing traveler needs. This move also deepens Wyndham’s collaboration with ARES, which has handled multiple Wyndham brands in Istanbul since 2019.

Arcan Bayraktaroğlu, Wyndham’s Country Director for Türkiye, explained that the new property meets rising expectations in the local hospitality sector. The hotel’s European-inspired design and lifestyle amenities distinguish it within Wyndham’s broader portfolio, which ranges from budget to premium options.

Tamer Çiçek, CEO of ARES İstanbul Turizm, described the partnership as a natural extension of their existing work. The hotel’s spa and dining facilities position it as a mid-range choice for travelers seeking both practicality and cultural immersion.
