Delano London is set to launch in early 2027, marking the brand’s debut in the British capital. The property will be situated in West London’s Kensington neighbourhood, offering stunning views of Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. With 67 rooms and suites spread across five floors, the hotel will also feature a range of amenities, including restaurants, nightlife venues, wellness facilities, and a private members club.

The hotel’s 67 rooms and suites will be distributed across five floors, with fourteen accommodations offering direct views across Hyde Park. More than half of the accommodations will be suites, reflecting the property’s emphasis on spacious, residential-style interiors. Many rooms will also come with walk-in wardrobes and private terraces, adding to the hotel’s luxurious feel.

Dining and Nightlife

Delano London will introduce Lana Lusa, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant concept making its London debut. The venue, brought to the city by international hospitality group Paris Society, will focus on creating a social dining environment. Designer Pirajean Lees has crafted the restaurant’s interiors, drawing inspiration from Mediterranean hospitality traditions.

The Rose Bar will be a key feature of the hotel, offering a unique cocktail and nightlife experience inspired by its Miami Beach counterpart. The venue will include the Rose Bar Lounge and Zodiac Room, providing intimate settings for private gatherings and social occasions. These dining and nightlife venues will help to expand the hotel’s offerings beyond accommodation, attracting visitors to London’s lively hospitality scene.

Wellness and Art

The Source by Delano introduces a wellness concept focused on restoration, rejuvenation and longevity. Facilities will incorporate movement-based activities, treatment spaces and contemporary wellness equipment, including contrast therapy. The hotel plans to work with specialist practitioners through changing residencies and collaborations, bringing different approaches to wellness and personal well-being into the property’s programme.

Alongside its wellness facilities, Delano London will feature an original collection of artworks curated by London-based art consultancy Cramer & Bell. The selection will feature British artists alongside established international names. These installations will form part of the hotel’s interior environment and guest experience.

The hotel will also launch Delano Members Club, a private membership concept connecting professionals and creatives from around the world. Members will enjoy access to exclusive experiences, partnerships, and privileges, both locally and internationally. The Delano Beyond programme will provide personalised travel experiences.

Ben Pundole, Chief Brand Officer for Delano Hotels, said the brand creates a feeling. “Bringing the brand to London feels particularly special because this is my home city with such a rich and varied cultural history. Delano London will be a space for discovery, somewhere you might strike up a conversation at Rose Bar with someone you’d never ordinarily meet, encounter a work by an emerging artist, or simply settle into an atmosphere that transports you beyond the bustle of the city outside. It’s a place for those who look for unique experiences.”

The opening will add another luxury lifestyle hotel to London’s competitive hospitality market. With 67 rooms and suites, the property will operate on a smaller scale than many established international luxury hotels. However, its facilities extend beyond accommodation to include dining, nightlife, wellness and membership services. For hotel operators, this combination reflects the development of additional revenue-generating activities within luxury hospitality properties.

Architectural Vision and Brand Heritage

Archer Humphryes Architects is responsible for the hotel’s architectural design. The design draws inspiration from the original Delano Miami Beach while adapting its style to a West London setting.

Residential interiors will incorporate theatrical details, combining contemporary design with references to the brand’s heritage. This approach connects the London property to Delano’s established aesthetic while creating a distinctive local identity.

The new property follows the brand’s established presence in destinations including Miami, Dubai and Paris. Through its London opening, Delano will extend its international hospitality portfolio into another major European capital.

Market Positioning and Growth Strategy

In particular, restaurants and bars can attract visitors who are not staying at the hotel.

Similarly, private membership programmes provide opportunities to develop ongoing relationships with local and international customers.
