Worldwide Insurance Solutions (WIS) recently announced that it has become the official distributor of Trace Luggage Tracker (www.tmlt.co.uk) for Middle East, Africa and the subcontinent. Commenting on this new distribution agreement, Jonathan Cooper, Managing Director of WIS said, “We are excited about the association with Trace Me. Given our links with the travel trade and traveller protection products, the luggage security tag is a natural fit with our core business and distribution.”

Highlights

Trace Me is a simple, yet effective, luggage tracking bag tag that greatly decreases the chances of a bag being permanently lost while in transit with an airline. For companies with a travel synergy, it provides a cost effective and relevant product to customers, and with the opportunity to white label the luggage tags, there is a great opportunity for brands to use this as a marketing tool. The product also includes a baggage guarantee of USD500 (AED1,836).

Trace Me was also featured recently on Worldwide Business with Kathy Ireland.

Great potential

Robert Beckett, Chairman of Trace Me, expressed positive sentiments about the collaboration. He said, “The UAE is fast establishing itself as not only an important tourist destination, but also the international airline transit hub of choice for many passengers travelling between the Far East, Europe and US. The region is witnessing significant growth in air travel numbers both domestically and internationally and this is only set to increase.

Given WIS’s undoubted experience in the travel and financial service industries, we are delighted that they share our vision for our product and the benefits that it can bring to both corporates and individuals. More passengers mean more luggage traffic and customers quite rightly wish to protect their bags from loss in the most cost effective and secure means available. Trace Me’s luggage tracker tag does just that.”
