flyadeal and Lufthansa Technik ink engineering services contract

flyadeal and Lufthansa Technik have signed a comprehensive four-year aircraft engineering services contract that covers the complete flyadeal A320 fleet.

One of the major components of the agreement is the set-up of a new maintenance control centre. This will include a full Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) and aircraft engineering support from Lufthansa Technik. Lufthansa Technik will also organise troubleshooting and help flyadeal establish an optimised maintenance program by the new Maintenance Concept Management (MCM) which allows highly efficient operations due to an optimised maintenance schedule. flyadeal will also be one of Lufthansa Technik’s first customers for its digital condition analytics tool which is part of AVIATAR, Lufthansa Technik’s open MRO IT platform for digital products and services.

Further services for flyadeal include compliance assessment of airworthiness authority requirements and manufacturer recommendations, reliability management, monitoring of life limited parts (LLP) and product engineering support.
